Wide media coverage for Rebuild Iraq

The “Rebuild Iraq” Employment Conference held by the Iraqi American
Chamber of Commerce and Industry, under the patronage of the Multi-
National Forces on the 24th and 25th of July 2007, has gained wide
media coverage. 220 Iraqi companies participated in the conference
as well as representatives from the Ministries of Labor and Social
Affairs, Higher Education and Scientific Research as well as Youth
and Sports.
Mr. Majid Michael, Director of the Business Center at Baghdad
International Airport (BIAP BC) declared to Al-Sabah Daily ( the
economic supplement), “ The Reconstruction Conference will secure
jobs for the unemployed youths.” Mr. Michael was very enthusiastic
about the conference and gave remarks of hope for the future of
Iraq.
Ms. Azza Hamadi, in charge of Women Affairs at the Gulf Engineering
Corps, which is responsible for rebuilding Iraq, confirmed, “ Woman
have a better chance in the coming projects of rebuilding Iraq.” |
