Province and has many other projects under consideration. The
company is qualified to receive about 300 youth trainees or
graduates from the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs conditioned
by abidance with honesty at the choice of the employment of the

forthcoming role for rescuing the Iraqi economy is relied upon by
the private sector because it is the only sector capable of
absorbing the masses of the unemployed and correctly utilizing the
current amount of $5 billions by the Multi National Forces. This
will undoubtedly contribute towards the reduction of unemployment
and its consequences as well as the drying up many sources of
violence.

The Al –
Junainah Company for General Trading says “Holding Conferences is a

vital role it feels is towards the economic sector and their

Future of the Private Sector
26/7/2007
“Since the beginning of the conference, all the individuals I met at
the sessions are in agreement that the Iraqi American Chamber of
Commerce and Industry and its dedication to the conference have
formed a noteworthy economic event,” said Mr. Mahood.
Mr. Qassim Mahood, Director of the Middle East Construction Company,
expressed his admiration about the good administration,
organization, preceded preparations and care undertaken by the staff
of IACCI. His company undertook some big construction projects for
reconstruction, including water and sewage projects, all over Iraq.
This company gives priority to the infrastrual projects which have
been greatly damaged due to acts of violence and quite negligence.
Mr. Mahood expects that his company will actively contribute in
attracting the unemployed and providing particular labor
opportunities for them since such projects are capable of
accommodating large numbers of unemployed. The company is keen to
employ trainees at the centers of Labor and Social Affairs by virtue
of their qualification subsequent to having gained rehabilitation
courses to develop their skills and increase their performance.
These courses will be time – saving for project completion.
In the end, Mr. Mahood confirmed that Iraq’s future is bound to the
private sector’s capability of supporting the national economy which
suffered a great deal of negligence and marginalization during the
time of the former era.
